Postdoctoral Position in Immune Oncology (m/f/d)

Our laboratory studies mechanisms of innate and adaptive immune signaling pathways and their alterations in malignant and inflammatory disorders. We established a series of novel model systems to dissect the molecular basis of malignant lymphomas and to develop novel therapeutic strategies that target the immune system in cancer. Our international research group is broadly embedded in the Munich biomedical research community, supported by several Collaborative Research Centres including the CRC 1335 “Aberrant Immune Signals in Cancer” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) as well as an ERC Advanced Grant and recently the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize from the DFG.

We offer a postdoctoral position for an applicant with a MD or PhD or equivalent doctoral degree with at least 3 years of proven research experience in immunology and molecular / cell biology. The ideal candidate has a strong publication record, is able to provide evidence of the ability to work in a team and experienced in the supervision of graduate or master students.

We give priority to severely disabled applicants with essentially equal qualifications. Payment accords to tariff (TV-L). As public sector employer, we cannot reimburse expenses related to the job interview.
